CONSIDER THE ANT

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6:6-8
Many of you are not ready to accept the following warning from the LORD. Many of you may even unsubscribe from the Daily WATCH. You will feel that Randy has become too radical, that he is an alarmist or extremist. For those who choose to part at this time my blessings go with you. I pray that this message will be a seed in your heart that will not die, but simply be a late bloomer.
The LORD has been gently warning me that summer is here. Not the yearly season that we are already sweltering in, but a season of the end-times. Many of us have been lulled into an apathetic state because of the reduced activity in Israel and elsewhere. Others of us have not noticed our love become distant and colder as we feel helpless in the tidal-wave of wickedness that has swept over the world. We are in the summer of the end. This will be some of the last "tranquility" we will know in these bodies. This is a time to prepare.
Yassar Arafat has offered to move aside into a yet to be formed position of president and make room for a prime minister for the new state of Palestine. This plan has the approval of both the United States and Israel. This will happen in January when the Palestinians plan their new elections for their reformed government. The plan also calls for the provisional state of Palestine to be declared in January after the elections. Did you catch that? In January the state of Palestine will be declared. Don't let the rhetoric fool you when they say that this will only be a provisional state. A state by any other name is still a state. At that moment the rebellion against the covenant will begin!
The antichrist is present, although not revealed as of yet. Israel will soon have her fake peace and security for all of three and a half years. After which the forces of evil will break loose. With the exception of delays in the declaration of Palestinian statehood this will give believers as little as 4 years to prepare before Satan wages all out war on the true church and Israel!
What can we do to prepare? Remember that no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast. This means that food will be the tool of political control over the masses. If you and your family are hungry enough you may cave in to the temptation of the mark. Before you say, "not me" remember that it was when Jesus went forty days without food that Satan chose to tempt him. Are you above our LORD?
Stockpile food! Yes, I know that various thoughts of my mental state are vying for control of your minds, but I wouldn't be telling you if I wasn't shown this in the Spirit. During the Y2K situation I encouraged believers to put away extra necessities 'just in case.' This is different than Y2K. We know that this is coming and is not a 'just in case' scenario.
Many of you may feel that God will take care of His own during the desolation. You are absolutely right. Those who are wise and prepare, like the ant, are part of God's support system for His people. You see, this stockpiled food is not just for you, many believers will not have the resources or time and some will wake up at the last minute. We need to be prepared to be our brother's keeper. Sharing our reserves will surely be a true test of our love for each other!
Remember that some of those unbelieving 'survivalists' out there getting ready to live in holes in the ground will be the few who survive the last day. They are the ones the scriptures speak of as crawling out of their dens and holes with fear and trembling. If they and the ants have the eyes to see, then when God says start packing we had better lead the way!
I will write more on preparing as the LORD leads. I exhort you to think simple. Don't run out and buy thousands of dollars of survival rations. Be good stewards and stretch your dollars. You will be feeding God's people, not just your family. The Bible tells us to put the interests of others ahead of our own and make other people more important than ourselves. With this in mind let us prepare as we gaze expectantly towards Jerusalem and the sky.
