TAKIYA

Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you
scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem. You boast, "We
have entered a covenant with death, with the grave we have made
an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot
touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our
hiding place."
So this is what the Sovereign LORD says:
"See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone
for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.
I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb
line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will
overflow your hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled;
your agreement with the grave will not stand. When the overwhelming
scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it. As often as
it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day
and by night, it will sweep through."
The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror. Isaiah
28:14-19
Takiya is an Islamic term for the right to fake peace when you are weaker than your opponent so that you can defeat your enemy when you are stronger. The precedent for takiya was set by their prophet Muhammad in the treaty of Hudaybiyah. Hudaybiyah is a small oasis between Mecca and Medina. In the 7th century Muhammad fought a losing battle with the Quraish tribe. Seeing no way to overcome them Muhammad decided to sign a 10-year peace agreement with the Quraish tribe, but two years later he had strengthened his forces to the point of superiority. While the Quraish were living securely and off their guard Muhammad marched into the city and captured it.
For decades Yassar Arafat, chairman of the Palestinian Authority, when addressing Arab audiences and his own people, has directly referenced Hudaybiyah as his policy course.
Islam, since 1948, has vowed to drive the Jews into the sea. They have backed up their tough rhetoric with war. The Sovereign LORD has authorized the chief prince of Israel, the archangel Michael, to protect Israel and he has done a marvelous job. Even hardened secular Israeli politicians speak reverently of the 'miraculous' victories Israel has had over her enemies. Islam knows that brute force cannot defeat Israel. They now will employ takiya. Watch the Palestinians closely as they call for political reforms and raise up supposedly moderate politicians to negotiate a treaty with Israel. Israel of course will believe that she has been successful in thwarting the declining number of suicide bombers, but in reality the Palestinians and her Islamic supporters will now withdraw from the fight to begin takiya. To be certain there will still be terror, but for the moment the Jihad (holy war) will subside.
It is into the treachery of takiya that the U.S., EU, UN and Russia are pushing Israel. And with the promises of green pastures of peace and security Israel's leaders are eagerly leading their sheep into this covenant with death.
The Sovereign LORD says, "Why do you scoff? Why, my people, do you push away my prophets? Did I not send them to you because of my love for you? Even now you can stop running from me and I would take you back as my wife. What do your lovers offer you? They offer you death! They do not love you, they hate you. I have told you many times do not make treaties with them. I told you that they would steal the hearts of your young men and women. Can you serve two masters?
People who are called by my name, why do you allow your affluence to dull the edge of your zeal for me? Did I not say to you that if you try to save your life you would lose it? There are many who sit in your church buildings who are faithful to their traditions. They are not faithful to me, but can their religion exceed that of the Pharisees? Those who have come out of the harlot, how is it that your forsake fellowship with even the least of these? My waters well up inside to eternal life and yet you cannot find time to offer even one cup of my redemption. Be wary or even what you think you have will be taken away from you!
Your calls for revival are becoming a stench in my nostrils! You call and call and yet you know it is not calling upon me that I ask for, but true repentance. Humble yourselves children, or in a little while the refiner's fire will condemn you rather than cleanse you."
"Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels." Revelation 3:2-5
