Welcome to the WATCH! newsletter. Let us not forget that when the rapture takes place is of lesser priority to a Christian than being steadfast and setting the goal of your faith on the resurrection. Be prepared and do not allow yourself to be deceived. Your relationship with the Word is everything, the less the relationship the greater the possibility that you could be deceived by things taught by demons. If you don't have a close relationship with the Word then he may say to you " away from me you evildoer, I never knew you." Through the Word you find everlasting life. Read and believe!

The new world order has gone into an increased acceleration mode. Since President Bush summed up his policy with the premise that you are either with us [anti terror coalition] or with the terrorists, the world has rallied around this new battle cry. Obviously, even in the land of the free you are on shaky ground to disagree with aspects of this policy. Now, as I stated last week, the war drum is sounding against Iraq, and the media, as if choreographed, has picked up the chant. The media seems to be almost zealous for the next war or should I say the next phase of the war. Iraq has vowed to defend itself, and what nation wouldn't have a right to! Our national thinking is that `it's only Iraq,' but it's not. Egypt and other muslim nations have put forth a clear message, do not attack Iraq or any other Arab nation. In effect the U.S. has inadvertently begun to help form an Islamic coalition. Right now it is a fragile coalition, but it is gaining strength. Malaysia is sounding the call for Islamic unity. Jordan and Egypt, two of Islam's most moderate states are issuing warnings - think we should take notice? If these states become convinced by our actions that we are on an anti Islam crusade then Pandora's box will seem like a blissful nights sleep. Christians had better not forget that Islam views Israel as infidels and believes that their Islamic divine appointment is to rid the world of them. Generations of Palestinian children are growing up with Israel omitted from their text books. They are taught by Sesame street like TV shows that martyrdom against Israel, the infidels, is of the highest order of honor and reward from their god. Things are moving so fast as world leaders jump on their chance to standardize and unify the "international community" that the West is practically begging and bribing Russia to join NATO! This would be hilarious if it wasn't so serious. Putin is playing the hard-to-get type until he can get enough concessions to his demands. This is Russia, glasnost or no glasnost, Russia will always be an aggressive, self serving military state. Remember that when Gorbachev addressed the old Soviet Congress for the last time, he told them not to mourn the loss of communism. He said that "communism wasn't disappearing but just changing it's face." As if to amplify this notion, presumably for state security purposes, Russia has resumed her cold war practice of closing some of her cities to foreigners.

The British people have consistently been resistant to a full-fledged membership into the European Union for their nation. But, sensing the public's feelings of vulnerability in the wake of 9-11, Prime Minister Tony Blair has begun an earnest push for Britain's inclusion. The scene continues to unfold . . .This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:3.

I am not saying that the Scriptures point to a clone of the antichrist as the image of the beast spoken of in Revelation 13. But it makes for a very interesting perspective and should not be unreasonably ruled out at this time, considering the latest news about cloning breakthroughs. The scientific advance by Advanced Cell Technology Inc. is scary enough if one considers the growing of human life for the purpose of parts harvesting, even tiny stem cells. Now imagine someone actually taking a clone embryo and planting it into a woman's uterus. If the claims by other mad scientists are true then you won't have to imagine for long. Scientist Panayiotis Zavos now seeks the dubious honor of cloning the first human and ushering in the age of asexual human reproduction. This is no joke folks! We knew deep inside that it was inevitable, but the inevitable is now on the door step and Zavos is not alone in his pursuit. Clonaid, which operates a secret lab outside the United States, said Monday it had created cloned human embryos before Advanced Cell Technology. They have suggested that they may already have a woman impregnated with a clone. If you were John the Revelator almost 2000 years ago how would you have described a clone? I'm only speculating at this point, but got you thinking, didn't I?

The danger to Christians in pressing times is that if enough pressing times come and go, we begin to grow numb to them. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 1 Corinthians 10:12. The WATCH! and my other ministries are not about banging the doom and gloom drums, but about understanding and seeing through the doom and gloom to our hope in the resurrection. As the days of mankind grow darker we must become more diligent in understanding the signs and times so that we may be found watching as The LORD himself commanded. Many will come in his name and perform signs and miracles and deceive many, even some of the elect. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? Galatians 5:7. Since 9-11 we have seen an emergence of many apocalyptic prophets. Many are legitimate, but many more are not! When all the voices of those who are God's prophets are blended with all the voices of the false prophets it becomes increasingly difficult to hear God - just as Satan intended. That is why it is paramount to our spiritual survival to not throw out the baby with the bath water. Be Bereans, search your Bibles, see if what is being said is true. Don't give up when you hear many opposing prophetic utterances. God will open the ears of your heart to hear his voice through his own prophets if you test these spirits against the Word. To dismiss both true and false prophets by the false reckoning that it doesn't matter is to call God a liar! You are responsible to seek God, God is not responsible to seek you. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22. Remember how the members of the Sanhedrin acted when Stephen imparted the truth, they covered their ears and screamed! God was talking to them and they covered their ears and screamed over him! (2 Peter 3:16-18)

The world is beginning to increase it's open disdain of believers. Never before have we had such open and venomous attacks upon Christianity in America. The militant homosexuals have literally posted a website with the names of all who oppose their choice of sin. This list has many well known Christians represented on it. They don't stop there. They actually state that they want these people to die and as horribly as possible! For every person that does die they leave the name on the list and simply cross it out. They claim that they do not sanction violence against these people, but when they die the promoters of this sight are jubilant. The front person for this organization sports the title "Reverend" before his name. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. 1 John 3:15. The homosexuals don't stop there, but in their depravity they have taken to publicly mocking the Scriptures in their play, Adam and Steve. With this behavior becoming more acceptable in our culture, don't expect it to lighten up. Although they perpetrate hate and mock the living God, have we as Christians given God's enemies some legitimacy to their scoffing? How about the denominations who allow homosexuals to minister or even to marry in their churches? Doesn't that spell hypocrisy across our brows? One denomination says no way while another says all are welcome. In the past, unity on the basic precepts of the faith kept darkness in the shadows and her practitioners in the closet. Change gears for a moment, how about the pastor who while casting out a demon, has the demonized woman die on him. This isn't the problem though, he kept the body in his house for 4-5 days believing she would rise from death to life again! Listen, I believe in the raising of the dead and healings - but it is no longer a faith issue by day 4 or 5! Take a close look in your church. Do you have people professing belief in Jesus Christ while living in sinful relationships, couples living together outside of marriage? How can the church allow this yeast into the dough? "Everyone who confesses the name of the LORD must turn away from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:19. It is far too common - take a close look at what is being tolerated in the church of today.

I welcome all questions. Here are some basic guidelines. The Holy Bible is the only truth that God has given us to reference. It is the standard all else is compared to. Jesus Christ is the Word of God and is the only way unto salvation. We would never want to be quoted outside of the context we are speaking in and so we must endeavor to never do this to the Word of God. God's word is the final word on any subject, regardless of what we have been taught or believe.
The seeking Christian is to be as noble as the Bereans by reading the adjacent context of any scripture given in their Bibles to see if what is said is true. I have opted not to give an exhaustive explanation of any answer here. Please do not assume that you have received the whole of my findings on these pages. The ultimate responsibility is upon the reader. If you find me in error then please love me in the love of Christ by letting me know. Please be prepared to support your position - as I am also prepared to be a Berean - and that is all I'm asking of you.
