“Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign LORD.
“Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.
“Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, ‘Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its men and their animals, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.
“Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath upon it through bloodshed, killing its men and their animals, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.” (EZEKIEL 14:12-20)
Fixing the economy alone will not save the United States, or any nation. Should every debt be repaid, and every politician be replaced with fiscal conservatives, and we see low taxes with balanced budgets, this nation will still be brought low if it does not turn back to Almighty God.
Our people need to wage moral revolution, not just fiscal revolution! Each person must repent and humble himself before God. He must draw the line against evil in his personal life. He must stop sampling the fruits of evil offered by a culture that is wicked to its core. He must not contribute to evil, but rob it of fertile ground for its roots to spread. He must challenge evil wherever it is found and overcome it with love, patience and determination! This revolution cannot be with guns and violence, but with the quiet groundswell of a nation’s people becoming one again with God, one by one, community by community, county by county and state by state. In such a land evil will not prevail and God’s blessings will find a home.
God’s truth is the foundation of a righteous nation, to destroy it is to destroy the nation! The economy is but a symptom, the results of the blind leading the blind. Without the light of God shining in our darkness we are doomed to stumble together into the pit!
The President of the United States and his Congress are now acting against the covenant God has established with Israel. This President will cause great anguish and woe upon the United States and all nations who follow his lead. Israel must not act against the covenant by ceding her inheritance to her enemies. When Israel does such an abominable thing, her rebellion will reveal the antichrist! Woe to all who do not know their God!
